Princess Gate Mews, London

Residential
The accommodation is arranged over three levels. The alterations improved the functioning of the house and allow the occupants to better enjoy their home within its surroundings. An extension to the basement increased the living area and this addition created a four-storey building to provide high quality family accommodation in the context of the heritage setting. The alterations improved the existing layout by reconfiguring the internal arrangement of the rooms. At ground floor the opened-up living spaces created an easy flow between living and dining areas. At first floor the bedrooms and bathroom layout created larger, better utilized spaces. At second floor level only a reconfiguration of the master bedroom had been designed.
